Shea Butter to care for your skin

We want to tell you about this fantastic product; Shea Butter and Olive Rich Body Moisturising Lotion (Lait de Corps) in a pump bottle. It is an absolutely brilliant body lotion - why? because it's made with 12% Shea Butter as well as Olive Oil making it SUPER moisturising. 

But what is Shea Butter and why does it get us excited? - Shea Butter is an off white tryglyceride (vegetable fat) extracted from the nut of the African Karite (Shea) Tree. It's high in vitamin A and oleic acid both of which are known to help to keep skin supple. Oleic acid is a saturated fatty acid with a very similar molecular structure to sebum which is naturally produced by our skin. This means that Shea Butter is able to be easily absorbed by skin rather than just sitting on the surface. 

This Shea Butter moisturising lotion not only works wonders on your skin, it smells beautiful too: a delicate fresh scent, perfect for both men and women. Also suitable for sensitive skin making this a brilliant family product. I use this as a body lotion (rather than just for my hands) in particular on my legs, knees, ankles and feet (including heels) and my skin is supple and my heels are not cracked or dry. It

This lotion is made in Provence with natural ingredients and our producers are rightly very proud of this product; Bernard (the owner of the company) uses this cream daily - and he is looking good!  

I use this lotion daily too especially on hands, knees, elbows and heels, it's easily absorbed and has made a difference to my dry skin. I find it a soothing lotion as well as smelling absolutely lovely and we don't mind telling you that the equivalent style cream for 250ml in L'Occitan costs £10 more than this!
